Eligible works are feature films and short films completed within the 12 months preceding their festival screening.
Feature films must be 41 minutes or longer*; short films must be 40 minutes or less.
Films selected for competitive sections must present their world premiere, with no prior public screenings outside their production country, no prior participation in other international film festivals, and no prior commercial release in any territory.
Works that are solely promotional, educational, or scientific are not eligible.
Films previously submitted to the event, including in re-edited versions, are not accepted.
Submitted films must not be available on the internet, broadcast on television, or commercially released on physical or digital formats before their official festival presentation.
All titles must be provided in their original language with English subtitles for pre-selection and screening;
- English-language works do not require subtitles for pre-selection.
- Submission is completed via the official online entry form with a secure screener link, incomplete or misleading entries are not considered.
- For selected films, approved screening formats are DCP or 35mm, subject to the festival’s technical specifications.
- DCP screenings are standard; any 35mm or exceptional DCP handling must comply with written technical approval and delivery instructions issued by the festival’s programming and technical offices.
